The Founding Problem
Senior care has a coordination problem. We built the infrastructure to solve it.
When Terry Wall founded Carefeed in 2020, the problem was already clear to anyone who had spent time inside a senior living community. Admissions, family communication, employee coordination, billing: all of it ran on spreadsheets, paper binders, hallway conversations, and tools that never talked to each other. The people doing the work were talented and committed. The systems around them weren't.
Clinical leaders carried workflows in their heads because no system held them reliably. Admissions teams reviewed referrals across five different portals. Frontline staff communicated through personal texts, creating compliance exposure no one could see.
The problem was never effort. It was the absence of one unified operational layer connecting the work. Carefeed was built to be that infrastructure.
Our Mission
We believe risk builds quietly in the gaps between standards and execution
Saying it versus doing it
The mission behind Carefeed is straightforward: support superior care experiences for senior living residents, families, and staff. What that means in practice is less obvious than it sounds.
Communication is care
Families interpret communication quality as care quality. An unanswered phone call or a missed calendar update becomes information that shapes whether a family feels confident in the decision they made about their loved one's care.
The real gap
The administrative leaders managing these communities are not failing when they feel overwhelmed. They are dealing with a genuine infrastructure gap, an auditable operational layer that does not yet exist between their organizational standards and their community-level execution.
The real work
Insurance verification. Re-entering the same information in three different places. Chasing down a signature that's already been chased twice. That's not why anyone got into senior care. Carefeed exists to take that work back, so staff spend their time on the work that actually needs a person.
Trusted by more than 3,000 senior living communities across the country
The outcomes we publish are not estimates or projections. They come from an independent survey of 185 Carefeed customers. When we say 75% of customers manage admissions in under 30 minutes, that number came from customers, not from us.
Customer Experience
We are the partner who stays after go-live
Senior care technology buyers have been disappointed before: implementations that ran long, systems staff refused to adopt, support that disappeared after go-live. We built our Customer Experience model to be the exception.
Every Carefeed customer is supported by a dedicated Customer Experience team based in the United States, one that knows your configuration, your communities, and your goals, so when something comes up, you're not starting from zero.
That team grows with you, as your organization adds communities and your priorities change.
